Richard Alan Mulford

Creative directed and shot a variety of photographic assignments since the 1980's. Born in London in the 1960's. Educated in Bahrain, Cyprus, Malta and the United Kingdom. Studied photography and design at Wirral Metropolitan College. Lived a bohemian existence in various countries in Europe and the Middle East for more than three decades.

Clientele includes advertising and communication agencies, businesses, publishers, private families and individuals. High profile advertising photography assignments include publications in Vogue and Arabian Knight magazines, as well as a variety of billboard, print and web campaigns for airlines, banks, designers, five star hotels and jewellers.

Specialized in directing and shooting industrial sub sea inspection photography (stills and video) for the offshore oil, gas and maritime industries as a deep sea diver onboard diving support vessels. Alternated between shooting studio commissions and underwater assignments, until retiring from commercial diving operations at 41 years of age.

On going personal project involves documentary photography which challenges his perception and ability to react. The precision required in shooting specialist commercial assignments in colour (on film and digital) honed his eye and brought him to appreciate the spontaneity of creating an original photographic art image on black + white film.

Specializes in the creation of original photographic art. Available for private commissions and commercial projects. Waivers his shoot fees on projects for registered charities. Operates on a direct hire basis from the United Kingdom.
