The Archive Image Restoration Project explores our collection of digitally refurbished Velox 'Gaslight' silver chloride contact prints. It is believed that these original images were shot by British Artist and Photographer - E.M.Mulford with a Kodak folding camera. Images were taken throughout a variety of Middle Eastern countries. The 'Gaslight' papers are imprinted with the manufacturers' reference symbols on the reverse sides. Images dated c.1903-1930's.

Technique
 
 
The original silver chloride contact print images were scanned 'in-house' with the utmost care using an Epson V750 'Cold-Cathode' flatbed scanner controlled by 'Silverfast Ai' processing software. Images have been painstakingly restored to retain the 'original characteristics' associated with the Velox 'Gaslight' process. On-going project work.
 
 
 
 
Art Prints
 
Produced on specialist archival grade 'Hahnemühle Digital' Bamboo-Fibre and Photo-Rag matt fibre art papers with 'Vivera' pigment inks. Certified display permanence rating of 200+ years. Prints are meticulously checked to ensure absolute perfection. Authenticated artworks. Supplied 'un-mounted' and individually sleeved in special "flat" folders.
