Photographer Richard Alan Mulford has directed and shot photographic image assignments internationally, since 1984. The precision required in shooting a variety of specialist assignments on film honed his eye and taught him to appreciate the beauty of the traditional monochrome photographic image. Street photography challenges his spontaneous perception and ability to react. He explores the concept of the chance encounter image, shot on monochrome negative film, to create an original non-manipulated image with a manual camera system. Richard plans to embark on an MA photography research programme in the United Kingdom in October 2010. |
